POD 1 - 1ST Saturday - 3rd Sunday
POD 2 - 1st Sunday - 3rd Saturday
POD 3 - 2nd Saturday - 4th Sunday
POD 4 - 2nd Sunday - 4th Saturday
* Minimum Community Can Visit on EITHER
Saturday or Sunday each weekend.
** NO visitation on 5th Saturday or Sunday.
*** County State Work Program Sundays from 12 to 3pm.
READ CAREFULLY! ALL VISITORS MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN
(18) YEARS OF AGE
TO VISIT WITH AN INMATE UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
RETURN ALL SIGNED FORMS TO INSTITUTION ADDRESS WHERE OFFENDER IS
HOUSED.
Attention all Visitors
At all times while on the grounds of the Mississippi Department of Corrections,
you are subject to search of your person, vehicles, personal property, or any/all
items you may have in your possession. Guns, knives, ammunition, alcohol, drugs,
weapons, or any instrument or tool that may be used as a weapon or any other items
declared by this institution to be contraband are strictly forbidden. Contraband
will be confiscated and violators will be prosecuted.
The following items are contraband and not allowed on Institutional Property.
Failure to comply may result in arrest and/or expulsion.
Alcoholic beverages
Tobacco and related products
Controlled substances
Cameras
Tape recorders
Civilian clothing
Tools
Weapons
Ammunition
Explosives
Hacksaw blades
Warning: Entry onto MDOC grounds constitute consent to search of person,
vehicles and possessions. MDOC Policy Miss State Statutes 47-5-191 thru 47-5-195
Rules of Conduct
General rules and regulations will include, but not be limited to the following:
Visitors will remain in the designated visiting areas.
Any visitor leaving the designated areas will have their visit terminated.
Any visitor not on the offender visitation list will be denied visitation.
No offender will escort any visitor to restroom areas.
Offenders and visitors will be prohibited from giving, trading, selling or
receiving anything to or from each other, other offenders or visitors.
Tobacco and tobacco related products are prohibited in all MDOC facilities
and property.
Visitors will converse with offenders in a normal tone of voice.
Loud talking, laughing, yelling or arguing can result in the termination of
visits.
Any visitor or offender who becomes disruptive or disrespectful to staff will
be reported and will be subject to having their visit terminated
Children will be the responsibility of the parent and/or adult and will be
supervised at all times
(At no time will children be left in the care of offenders).
No toys will be brought into the institution.
Combing of hair within the visitation area is prohibited.
Offenders and visitors must keep the area clean. All plastic bottles,
paper, and other trash will be placed in trash containers.
Offenders are net permitted to escort/accompany visitors to walkways or
gates.
Visiting more than one offender is prohibited unless an immediate family
relationship has been verified.
In an emergency or disturbance, visitors will be required to leave the
facility.
At the conclusion of visitation, visitors will be prohibited from leaving
the facility with any property or items that was not in their possession upon
entering the institution.

Acceptable Behavior
A brief kiss and embrace upon entry and exit
Holding hands
Walking or sitting with arms around the shoulder or waist
Hands resting on any part of the body not considered sexual
Prohibited Behavior
Hands on or fondling areas considered sexual
Sexual activity
Prolonged body kissing or body embracing
Lip kissing except for the beginning or end of the visit
Sitting in such a manner to expose to view areas of the body considered
sexual
No sitting in laps (does not apply to children under the age of
12)
Sitting or lying on the grass
Dress Codes
Males
Shirts must be worn
No pants pulled down below the hip line
No tank tops, sleeveless tops or bare midriffs
No shorts above the knee
No cut-off shorts, jogging shorts or biking shorts
Shoes must be worn
Underwear must be worn
No jewelry except a wedding ring,
religious medallion or medical alert bracelet
Hats, caps and bandanas will not be permitted
(religious headgear and garments are allowed)
Females
Shorts at knee level or below
No hip-huggers, cut-off shorts, jogging shorts or biking shorts
Slits on skirls and dresses will not extend above the knee when seated
No see-through clothing
No tank tops, sleeveless tops or bare midriffs
Underwear and bra must be worn
Shoes must be worn
No jewelry except a wedding ring,
religious medallion or a medical alert bracelet
Hats, caps and bandanas will not be permitted
(religious headgear and garments are allowed)
